Owners Millie Dolter and daughter Jennifer Klaas opened Basket Expressions on June 1st, 1990. Our goal was to develop a new tradition of gift giving through decorative custom designed gift baskets. Dubuque openly welcomed the new gift store, which has led to the tremendous success that it enjoys today.

     Customers can browse through our 11 room Victorian shop and choose from candles to bath lotions, salsa to pretzels, wines to coffees, chai to cocoas, preserves to soups and much, much more.      Basket Expressions has opened an in-store Stone Cliff Winery tasting room. Stone Cliff is located just 7 miles north of Dubuque. You can taste the varieties of Stone Cliff before choosing your favorite wine. Choose from Cherry, Cranberry, Sweet Concord, White Zinfandel, Cabernet and Chardonnay. Basket Expressions now allows you to personalize a bottle of wine.
